July Birchbox

I think my Birchbox arrived a little early this month. I received my box July 9th and I think I usually get it closer to the middle of the month. This month's Birchbox was sponsored in part by Women's Health. I don't really see any trace of Women's Health in this month's box aside from what is essentially a throw away booklet called "power up." This is a sample box not where I get my generic health advice...don't get it.

Anyway, onto the products.

1. Naobay Body Radiance Lotion: This is just a body lotion. It claims to be natural and organic and contain olive oil and avocado to "naturally hydrate and soften skin." The formula is on the thinner side and has a light feel after it's applied. I detect a slight ginger scent. Nothing to write home about.

2. Cynthia Rowley Beauty Creamy Lip Stain in Valentine: this is a very light weight, glossy lip stain in a creamy coraly pink shade. The formula is very think and shiny. Once the shine wears off you are left with a light stain. Nice product for a summer look.

3. Ofra Universal Eyebrow Pencil: I received this same pencil in my June Ipsy bag. Check out my thoughts here.

4. Real Chemistry Luminous 3-Minute Peel: this is an acid-free peel which is supposed to give you similar results to that of a chemical peel. It is a clear gel that you apply and leave on for 30 seconds, then massage in for 2-3 minutes and rinse off. I'm skeptical but I will be giving this a try.

Bonus: Foil packets (ahhhh) of 100% Pure Gingerade Shower Gel. I haven't used these yet but will bring them away with me next weekend. I hate foil packets but they are good for travel.

Ipsy Glam bag and Lip Monthly (a new subscription service for lip products) are on the docket. Can't wait for them to arrive.

Love,

Michele
