Ipsy Glam Bag July 2014

Can we just talk about how freaking adorable the scalloped hot pink vinyl bag is? So cute! Ok, ok, onto this month's products.

1. Hang Ten Dark Tanning Oil SPF 8: I usually wear a much higher SPF whenever I'm in the sun (15-30+). I can't imagine that I'm going to use this for tanning but I'll probably use this as a moisturizer for my arms and legs.

2. BeFine Food Skin Care Daily Moisturizer with SPF 15: This formula is moisturizing but not too heavy or greasy. I like this though I prefer a higher SPF for my daily moisturizer but I think I'll use this product up. Plus the size is travel-friendly.

3. Pur Mineral Big Look Waterproof Mascara:  I haven't tried this mascara yet but it contains Argan oil so I'm questioning how waterproof this formula really can be (since oil is used to break down waterproof formulas). It has a spiky rubber brush so hopefully is does a nice job separating the lashes.

4. Elizabeth Mott Tints & Sass in Cherry: I love stains. Not so much for the cheeks but I love them for the lips. This formula goes on wet but dries down to a nice light stain. The color isn't super intense but it has decent payoff. I love the I-just-ate-a-popsicle look in the summer.

R to L: Tints & Sass and 5-in-1
5. bareMinerals 5-in-1 BB Advanced Performance Broad Spectrum SPF 15 in Divine Wine:  This is a good crease color for a natural makeup day. It can also be used as a shadow base/primer to start off a look. The formula is light-weight but I haven't worn in yet so I can't speak to it's wear throughout the day.

Overall, I think this month's bag contained some pretty nice products. Though I don't usually buy products containing SPF of less that 20, I think I'll get some use out of the tanning oil and moisturizer anyway. I'm happy with this bag. Subscribe to Ipsy here.

Love,
Michele
