June Birchbox time!

I feel like my last Birchbox just arrived-- though I did receive May's box late because I was out of town. Lucky me it's that time again! This month I received 5 samples and I pretty much like 'em all. That's surprising for Birchbox, in my experience.

1. Coastal Scents Revealed 2 sampler: The Revealed palettes are supposed to be dupes for all the UD Naked Palettes. I have all the Naked palettes so I never had much desire to try the Coastal Scents dupe even though they are a fraction of the price. I wasn't expecting much when I saw this sampler in this month's box but the quality really surprised me. The sampler contains 4 neutral shades: a medium cool brown matte, a cool shimmery taupe, a warm coppery shimmery brown with glitter and a pale shimmery gold. These are so similar to UD shadows and the quality and pigmentation are almost as good as UD. These palettes are a decent option for those who do not want to invest the Urban Decay Naked Palettes.

2. English Laundry Signature for Her fragrance sample: This is the second time that I received this scent in a subscription box. It's a sweet floral described as being inspired by an English garden (smashing, dahhhhling). I don't know about the English garden bit but I really like the scent especially for the warmer month.

3. Jergens BB Body Perfecting Skin Cream: I've heard a lot of bloggers/vloggers talk about this product recently....and I still have no idea what it's supposed to do. The product claims to have "5 beautifying benefits in one moisturizer for a flawless appearance." Whatever that means. I'll definitely use it though since I moisturize my arms & legs on the daily.

4. LAQA & Co. Lip Lube Pencil in Menatour: this is a deluxe sample size lip crayon. The formula is sheer, slightly glossy and a gorgeous purpley-orchid shade. It's very light on the lips, balm-like, and has a peppermint scent and tingle. I'm really into sheer lip products lately so I'm sure this guy will get some use.

5. Caudalie Polyphenol C15 Anti-Wrinkle Defense Serum: This product came in a tiny tube and I feel like I may have had it before. It's just a very light-weight serum to be used under moisturizer. The magic words are in it's name: anti-wrinkle. I always like that.

I definitely feel like I will use all the products this month. I don't think anything will become holy grail status but you never know.
