March Favorites

Another month flew by and it's April-- APRIL! That means spring, and flip, flops, and...wait, let's reminisce for a moment. Let's talk March faves.

1. Hourglass Ambient Lighting Blush in Luminous Flush: This is the current warm toned blush in my rotation. Though I do not think that this blush is worth the hyper it's been getting from the beauty community (or the $35 price tag), I do love the subtle buildable shade. It's described as a champagne rose but I'm not sure that that is an accurate description. When I think champagne, I think shimmer and massive luminosity, but I don't get that with this product at all. It's more of a warm pink tone with a satin finish. Very pretty!

2. Jimmy Choo Parfum: I suck at describing scents but I know when I love something! This scent is described as "Green, Tiger orchid, Toffee, Sensual Indonesian Patchouli." Sensual Indonesian Patchouli? No idea what makes it sensual, but I love this fragrance on my skin!

3. Milani Baked Blush in Delizioso Pink: This is the current cool toned blush in my rotation. It gives a nice complexion brightening pop of pink. This product is described as having a matte finish but it's more of a satin without the glow. It really helped perk up my face when I wasn't feeling well, which was most of March sadly.

4. Sephora Collection Eyelash Curler: The eyelash curler that I was using broke so I needed a new curler. The one that I had been using before it broke pinch my lids on occasion so I was looking for a better quality eyelash curler to replace it. I was just looking through the sale bins at Sephora and found a discontinued color (Technicolor Tinsel) for $11. Sold! The silicone pads and handles give a lot of traction and precision. And, best of all, no pinching!

5. Garnier Skin Renew 5 Sec Blur Instant Smoother: I'm a primer lover. I like the feel and effect of silicone-based primers. This product has that silicone feel but feel a lot lighter than some of the other products that I've been using (ahem, L'Oreal Miracle Blur!) and doesn't seem to break me out. I feel like it really helps my foundation to apply and blend out smoothly and keeps my under eye are from looking crepey throughout the day. And you can pick it up at the drugstore-- major points in my book!

So there you have it-- my favorite March products. Though as the temperature rises, I'm starting to think about self tanner, hot pink nails and beachy hair. All the possibilities!

Love,
Michele
