Tag time! The Perfect Palette

Time for a tag-- The Perfect Palette! Since I'm a huge lovers of palettes, I have a ton to choose from! Not sure if that fact will make this harder or easier to answer these questions but I'm gonna give it a try!

1. Best Packaging: UD Vice & Vice 2 (had to pick 2)-- these packaging is a huge improvement over the box of shadows of old. I hated the old cardboard packaging (I depotted mine into Z Palettes). The plastic packaging, in combination with the slow-open large mirror is awesome!

2. Best Color Payoff: Sugar Pill Cold Chemistry-- this quad is massively pigmented and apply/blend like a dream.

3. Most Versatile: LORAC Pro Palette-- a row of mattes and a row of shimmers offer a ton of variety and work together beautifully.

4. Best for Traveling: UD Smoked Palette-- this palette zips up to keep the shadow and pencil inside nice and safe en route to where ever your destination maybe! Also the combination of shades are great for creating everything from a neutral eye through a smoky, dramatic eye.

5. Biggest Regret: Sugar Pill Heart Breaker-- just don't really reach for it.

6. Best Color Names: Kat Von D Spellbinding-- birdcage, oddfellow, WTF...need I say more?

7. Least Used: Sigma Creme de Couture-- I haven't been reaching for this this season because I feel like it's a Spring/Summer palette. Not sure why Sigma would release this in the Fall. I'll try to remember that I have this in 6 months.

8. Most Used: UD Naked and Kat Von D Ladybird True Romance Palette (had to pick 2)-- Naked is a warm neutral palette while Ladybird is a neutral selection of smooth matte shadows. These 2 palettes get a lot of action.

9. Most Loved: UD Naked & Naked 2 (had to pick 2)-- love the Naked line from UD. Cannot wait for Naked 3 to be release....oooohhh, rose golds and mauves make me happy.

10. Desert Island: UD Naked Basics-- not sure why I would need eye shadow on a desert island :-) I do think that this matte palette is perfect for creating simple, natural, contoured looks (and an awesome compliment to any of my other more shimmery shade palettes).

So there you have it...I clearly own too many eye shadow palettes but each holds a special place in my heart.

Love,

Michele
