November Birchbox time!

I received the email notification yesterday that my November Birchbox shipped and it was in my mailbox TODAY. Holy fast shipping, Batman! Here's the loot that I uncovered after busting open the box.

1. Mox Botanical Bath Milks: a blend of botanicals and sea-salt to add to a bath. They can be used tea bag-style, steeped in the water, or you can empty the contents into the water directly. My guess is that you probably need to scrub the tub harder if you just dumped the product in so I'd probably just steep it in my bath.

2. The Balm Cosmetics Stainiac in Beauty Queen: a sheer, rosy lip & cheek stain. I already own this product and, to be honest, I'm not crazy about this it. I just cannot make it work for me. I was hoping to achieve the I-just-ate-a-Popsicle lip, but the product wasn't really pigmented enough. Maybe I just need to work on building it up-- I just hate to work so hard for an effortless look.

3. Joie Folle de Joie eau de parfum: this is a lovely light woodsy floral. I'll happily use this up.

4. DDF Amplifying Elixir: this stuff is very thin in texture and absorbs very quickly. It's supposed to boost your skin's natural moisture barrier by 50%. I'll give it a try.

5. Color Club Nail Polish in Baldwin Blue: the shade is a dusty neutral blue. Good shade for the dead of winter.

6. Mighty Leaf Tea Pouches: a variety of herbal and black teas in gorgeous little sachets. I had a few of these teas last week at a convention center and was thrilled to see them in my Birchbox. These are great this time of year. I'll toss these in my desk drawer at the office to enjoy on the clock.

All in all, this was a pretty good Birchbox. I think that I will be enjoying all of these goodies.

Love,
Michele
