Drugstore dupes: MAC lipstick style

I love dupes. Especially when I can dupe out a prestige product for a drugstore product. I know that I've mentioned my love for drugstore cosmetics here before but I'll say it again-- drugstore products just aren't what they used to be. They are MUCH better! I can honestly say that some of the drugstore dupes that I'm going to show here are as good as their MAC counterparts. You may notice what looks like a color variation in the photos. This is due to the finish of the product-- just the way it came across in the photography (I'm still learning!). Here we go.

1a. MAC Viva Glam 1 (matte)
1b. Revlon In the Red (matte)
      • Same finish
      • MAC is slightly more brick tones and Revlon is a touch more blue-toned

2a. MAC Quick Sizzle (matte)
2b. L.A. Girl Last Night (like MAC's lustre)
        • Different finish
        • MAC formula is more pigmented

3a.MAC Viva Glam Nicki (satin)
3b. Wet n Wild Pinkerbell (matte)
        • Different finishes
        • Shade is very similar

4a. MAC Viva Glam Gaga (lustre)
4b. Rimmel Pink Blush (like MAC's lustre)
        • Same finish
        • MAC formula is sheerer

5a. MAC Snob (satin)
5b. Revlon Pink Pout (matte)
        • Different finishes
        • MAC is slightly cooler tone

Bonus:
a. MAC Candy Yum Yum (matte)
b. Obsessive Compulsive Cosmetics Lip Tar Nylon (like MAC's lustre)
        • Different finishes
        • Shade is indistinguishable

* This is a cheat because OCC Lip Tar is also a prestige product-- it actually cost's more the MAC, but the color is spot on.

Next up, more drugstore dupes-- Tarte and Urban Decay and Dior...oh my!

Love,
Michele
