My Summer picks-- necklace edition
I LOVE accessories. I'm always on the lookout for neat baubles-- usually cheap finds at H&M, Forever 21, So Good or Ebay. I really like statement pieces in the summer because they help make a simple summer getup more interesting and polished. I'm going to share a few of my fave necklaces with you.
I think that this is my absolute favorite summer piece. It's a J.Crew Factory piece that I purchased on Ebay. It's been sold out on the J.Crew Factory site for ages but I was able to track it down on Ebay. It goes with a variety of colors and looks. I have worn it with a black maxi dress, a coral maxi dress, a navy eyelet dress and with a million other outfits this summer. No fail, I always get a ton of compliments every time I wear it. Love.
I found this beauty on Etsy. It's a hand painted rhinestone piece that I thought, from the pics & description on Etsy, would be actually neon. It's not neon but it is bright. And it is unique and handmade, which really warms my heart. So far, I have worn this with a black wrap dress and a chambray shirt and black skirt combo. It's a really well made and interesting piece and the ombré effect is really cool. And I'm a sucker for anything pink and orange-- I love these colors together.
Glitz, glam and neon! I found this one at H&M and the neon yellow-green rhinestones spoke to me (buy me! buy me! BUY ME!). I've been kind of obsessed with this neon hue all summer. I feel like this goes with everything (did I mention that I'm ridiculous!?). I've worn it with my black maxi & black wrap dresses. I've even worn this with a black tee and a neon yellow tank and it seemed to work just as well. It just adds a sparkly, funky edge to any outfit and it was cheap as dirt.
When you get rain on a beach vacations, you must shop.I think that's an official rule.I grabbed this sucker up at the J.Crew Factory store in Tinton Falls, NJ. It was marked down and them 50% off-- score! Neon and sparkles again-- I'm starting to notice a pattern. This piece is pretty casual. It looks cute with my black and white striped t-shirt dress and my chambray shirt. Love it!
Now, that was fun! Maybe next I will share my favorite summer bracelets.
