August Birchbox: Finishing School
I get so excited when I get my monthly shipping confirmation email from Birchbox. I check my mailbox obsessively until it's delivered and then open it it immediately. It's so much fun to be surprised by which goodies are in my Birchbox.
I've stayed away from the Birchbox site and from any other spoiler sources (YouTube, Facebook, etc) this month, as I usually do, so I had no idea what was going to be in this month's box. Here's what I found after I ripped it open:
1. Violet Oasis 100% Organic Argan Oil
2. TanTowel Classic Formula Self-Tan Towelettes
3. Dr. Jart+ Premium BB Cream SPF 45+
4. ModelCo Party Proof Lipsick
5. Jasmine Seven Fresh Feet Wipes
I'm really excited about the lipstick from ModelCo-- mine came in Disco Fever; a peachy coral color. The packaging describes the formula as a matte but the texture and finish are more satin than matte. It's a really comfortable formula on the lips and a nice pop of color.
I've already tried the Dr Jart+ BB and the color is not for me. I'm also not a big fan of the formula. This product just doesn't work for me. The other products I'm not as excited about. Even if the products are not products I'm not totally interested in, I will still find ways to use them (they are great for travel or sharing). The thrill of the surprise make it worth it.
